What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness helps one become more aware of the breath, emotions, and thoughts that arise and dissolve in the mind.

Through mindfulness, people learn to recognize when they are feeling uneasy or upset.  This awareness allows them to choose how to react.  They learn to replace negative ways of reacting with positive ways.

Through the Mindfulness for Children program, children and teenagers cultivate skills to increase
